Nine Injured in Microbus Accident in Gorkha Receiving Treatment in Bharatpur

Chitwan. The injured from the microbus accident that occurred on Saturday in Kantar, Sahilakhan Rural Municipality-3, Gorkha, are being treated at the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (Old Medical College) in Bharatpur. Nine injured individuals from the accident were brought here last night.

According to Dr. Sudip KC, a physician at the hospital, five people are currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It is reported that three of them are being treated in the Neurosurgery ICU and two in the Surgery ICU. Among the injured, seven are Indian nationals and two are Nepali.

The microbus, bearing registration number BaPra 01-006 Kha 8430, was carrying 16 devotees returning after visiting Manakamana when it fell approximately 200 meters down the road. Police stated that seven Indians died at the scene of the accident.
