Western Low-Pressure System Partially Affecting Nepal, Cloudy Skies Expected

Kathmandu. The Department of Meteorology has stated that a western low-pressure system is currently having a partial impact on Nepal. Due to this influence, hilly and mountainous regions across the country are generally experiencing cloudy conditions.  

This afternoon, hilly and mountainous areas in Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpashchim provinces, and other remaining provinces will generally be cloudy, while other areas will have partial cloud cover. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and snowfall in some parts of the country's mountainous regions.

There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in some areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, in a few places in the hilly regions of the remaining provinces, and in one or two places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces. 

Tonight, Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, along with the hilly and mountainous regions of the country, will generally be cloudy, while the remaining areas will have partial cloud cover. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and snowfall in some parts of the country's mountainous regions. 

There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in some places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, and in a few places in the hilly regions of the remaining provinces. Additionally, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in one or two places in the Terai regions of Koshi, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
