Nepali Congress Calls Central Working Committee Meeting to Finalize Proportional Representation Candidates

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of its Central Working Committee to finalize the names of the members of parliament under the Proportional Representation (PR) category for the House of Representatives.

The party's central office issued a notice informing that the Central Working Committee meeting will convene on Sunday at 1 PM. The meeting will be held at the party's central office located in BP Nagar, Lalitpur.

The main agenda of this meeting is the selection of PR parliamentarians. Discussions and decisions will be held in the meeting regarding the final selection of House of Representatives members based on the number of seats the party secured, chosen from the candidates listed in the closed list submitted to the Election Commission before the election, and sending these names to the Election Commission.

A statement issued by the acting chief secretary of the Nepali Congress, Krishna Prasad Dulal, requested all office bearers and members of the Central Working Committee to be present at the designated time.
