Youth Wing Condemns Brutal Rape and Murder of 16-Year-Old Girl in Surkhet

Kathmandu. The Central Committee of the Nepal Tarun Dal has expressed serious concern over the heinous and inhumane incident of rape and subsequent murder of 16-year-old girl Inisha BK, a resident of Birendranagar-1, Surkhet. The Tarun Dal noted that such a cruel crime against an innocent girl has shocked the entire society, leading to deep public outrage.

The statement issued by the committee mentioned that such an incident raises serious questions about the state of societal security and the responsibility of the state. The Nepal Tarun Dal strongly demanded that the Government of Nepal and relevant bodies immediately arrest the perpetrators involved in the incident and take the strictest action according to the law through a fair and transparent investigation.

Furthermore, the government was urged to ensure swift justice for the victim's family, provide appropriate compensation, and guarantee necessary security. The statement also highlighted the need for the state to act more responsibly and sensitively in controlling such heinous crimes against women and children.

The Tarun Dal warned that if there is any delay in the impartial investigation of the incident or any attempt to shield the guilty, they will not remain silent. The committee stated that if necessary, they would be compelled to raise their voices in favor of justice and launch strong protests across the country.
