Armed Police Force Bids Farewell to Recruited Election Police Personnel

The election police personnel recruited into the Armed Police Force (APF) have been bid farewell. Deputy Spokesperson (DSP) Shailendra Thapa of the Armed Police Force told Ratopati that 15,110 election police personnel were bid farewell on Thursday.

The APF had deployed 15,110 election police personnel for security during the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21. They were deployed alongside Armed Police Force personnel in various constituencies throughout the election period.

Following the election, the APF conducted a two-day disaster management training program for the election police. DSP Thapa stated that as part of the APF's initiative to prepare disaster indicators, the election police were also trained and included in the list of indicators.
