Former PM Prachanda Demands Swift Investigation into Rape and Murder of Girl in Surkhet

Kathmandu. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and former Prime Minister, has demanded a swift and effective investigation into the gang rape of the girl Inisha Bika.

 Furthermore, he has demanded that the government take strict action against the culprits.

'I am deeply saddened by the criminal act of gang rape and heinous murder committed against sixteen-year-old Inisha Bika in Surkhet,' Prachanda stated via social media. 'I offer heartfelt tribute to the deceased girl and express deep condolences to the bereaved family.'

Prachanda strongly demanded that the government and relevant bodies conduct an impartial, swift, and effective investigation into the incident and take stringent legal action against the guilty parties.
