Four Killed in Separate Road Accidents Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Four people died in road accidents in different parts of the country in the last 24 hours. Those who lost their lives in these accidents in Parsa, Dhanusha, and Surkhet included everyone from vehicle drivers to pedestrians.

In Parsa's Sakhuwaprasauni Rural Municipality-5, Mahuwan, the driver of an Indian car with registration number BR 05 BL 0645 died after the vehicle lost control and crashed late Monday night. The 23-year-old driver, Harindra Sah Teli, a resident of Bahudarmai Municipality-1, died while undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital in Birgunj. Another person injured in the same accident is currently being treated at the same hospital.

Similarly, two youths lost their lives in two separate tractor accidents in Dhanusha. In Mithila Municipality-2, Sukjor Tol, 20-year-old Manish Raut died after being run over by a tractor with registration number Ja 1 Ta 9404. He died during treatment at Janaki Medical College, and the police have taken the tractor driver into custody.

In Ganesh Man Charanath Municipality, also in Dhanusha, 27-year-old Upindra Sada died on the spot after falling from another tractor. The police have intensified their search for the tractor and the driver who fled the scene after the incident.

Meanwhile, in Surkhet's Birendranagar Municipality-11, the 33-year-old driver, Rudra Bahadur Shahi, died when a tipper with registration number Ka.Pra. 02-001 Ka 0136 overturned. Shahi, who was seriously injured when the tipper lost control and overturned on the road late Monday night, died Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College.

According to the police, further investigation is underway regarding all these accidents.
