Two Killed in Separate Road Accidents in Sarlahi and Sindhuli

Kathmandu. Two people have died in separate road accidents in Sarlahi and Sindhuli. A young man lost his life when a motorcycle met with an accident on the road at Gair in Kawilasi Municipality-7, Sarlahi, on Sunday night.

The motorcycle, bearing registration number BR 30 AP 2315, which was traveling from Gair towards Kawilasi, became uncontrolled and crashed. The driver, 23-year-old Papu Sah of Kawilasi Municipality-8, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Malangwa. Police stated that another person riding on the motorcycle who was injured in the same accident has been referred to Birgunj for further treatment.

Similarly, an elderly woman died after being hit by a motorcycle in Inarpani, Kamala Mai Municipality-9, Sindhuli. The 82-year-old Kaushila Maya Giri, a resident of the same place, died after being hit by a motorcycle with registration number Pr. 1-05-001 P 9557 traveling from Sindhuli towards Dudhauli.

Giri, who was seriously injured in the collision, was immediately taken to Shubhastik Hospital, Bardibas, for treatment, but she died during the course of treatment. Police are conducting necessary investigations into both accidents.
