Close Contest in Ilam-1 Parliamentary Vote Count, Nepali Congress Takes Slight Lead

Ilam. The counting of votes for the House of Representatives election 2082 in Ilam-1 is ongoing, revealing an interesting competition so far. A tough battle is evident between the Nepali Congress and the Shram Sanskriti Party in this constituency.

In the latest vote tally, the Nepali Congress has slightly increased its lead. Nischal Rai of the Nepali Congress has secured 12,130 votes, while Binod Nemwang Limbu of the Shram Sanskriti Party has garnered 11,591 votes. The difference between the two has reached 539 votes. Limbu faced a slight setback in Suryodaya-8.

Kaji Man Kagate of CPN-UML has received 10,905 votes, and Bimal Gadale of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has obtained 9,936 votes. Ran Bahadur Rai of the Communist Party of Nepal is in fifth place with 6,357 votes.
