National Independent Party Leads in Proportional Representation Vote in Kaski District

Kaski. The National Independent Party has also emerged as the first party in the proportional representation category in Kaski district for the House of Representatives election.

The party, which previously won the direct elections in all three constituencies of the district, has now also become the first in the proportional representation category. Rudra Neupane, Information Officer at the Provincial Election Office Pokhara, informed that the National Independent Party secured a total of 113,628 votes in the proportional representation category across all three constituencies in the district.

The Nepali Congress received 28,656 votes, while CPN (UML) secured 24,199 votes. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 6,466 votes, the Communist Party of Nepal received 5,763 votes, the Shram Sanskriti Party received 3,564 votes, and the Rastriya Parivartan Party received 1,072 votes.

Out of a total of 309,563 registered voters in the district, 191,425 votes were cast. The Provincial Election Office Pokhara stated that out of these, 186,724 votes were valid and 4,698 votes were invalid.
