Rastriya Swatantra Party's Vikram Timilsina Wins Nuwakot-1 Parliamentary Seat

Kathmandu. Vikram Timilsina of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected in Nuwakot Constituency Number 1. According to the counting completed on Sunday night, he was elected by securing 22,609 votes. Nepali Congress's Prakash Sharan Mahat was defeated. Mahat only garnered 18,597 votes.

Similarly, CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Hit Bahadur Tamang received 13,377 votes, while CPN-UML's Badri Mainali secured 8,932 votes. With this result, the RSP has won in both constituencies.
