Close Contest in Ilam Constituency-1 as CPN-UML Candidate Leads Narrowly

Kathmandu. An interesting contest is unfolding in Ilam Constituency Number 1 between CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress. CPN-UML's Kajiman Kagate has secured 8,671 votes, while Binod Nemwang Limbu of the Shram Sanskriti Party has garnered 8,584 votes.

Similarly, Nishkal Rai of the Nepali Congress has obtained 8,454 votes. There is a vote difference of 217 among them. Furthermore, Bimal Gadale of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured 5,416 votes. CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Ran Bahadur Rai has received 2,763 votes, while Jwala Nepal of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has secured 246 votes.
