A Call for Equality and Leadership on International Working Women's Day

Heartfelt respect and best wishes to all the heroic mothers and sisters of the world who have struggled throughout history for truth, justice, equality, and freedom on this International Working Women's Day.

The history of human civilization is not just a story of development and progress; it is also a history colored by pain, injustice, and struggle. We must never forget the blood-soaked history and bitter present of those great mothers who were burned alive on pyres for being mothers, those women forced to endure inhuman torture under the accusation of witchcraft by society for being ugly or helpless, and those who were forced to swallow the fire of violence, murder, rape, humiliation, and discrimination from family to state.

Times are changing. But the pain, struggle, and hope of history continue to flow within the dark tunnel of human civilization. The consciousness of mothers has always contributed uniquely to building a new era in every society, every home, and every movement in the world.

Today, the old narratives regarding understanding mothers are gradually changing. Moving out of the traditional cage of merely enduring, listening, and remaining silent, mothers have become the consciousness of change, the light of thought, and the guiding force for the future.

We stand at such a historical juncture where the time has come to understand women not merely as a subject of rights, but as a force leading civilization.

The recently concluded elections in Nepal have once again highlighted this question. All political parties, new or old, have still not accepted women's participation as respectable representation. Women's social and political representation remains a matter of state charity and favor even today. Therefore, we still need to continue our unwavering struggle from our feet to our minds on the journey toward equal rights and respect.

Dear Mothers and Sisters,

You are the greatest school of love, dedication, sacrifice, and humanity. Your compassion, labor, struggle, and consciousness build the character of society. Now is not just the time to remember the history of pain, but the time to write a new history of novel consciousness.

Today's world is at a critical juncture of serious crisis. Division, violence, war, despair, and injustice are pushing human civilization toward deep instability. In such times, the power to build a new civilization based on coexistence, equality, and compassion lies within the consciousness of mothers.

Therefore, today is not just a celebration—it is also a solemn pledge.

Let us all come together to build a future where no daughter has to shrink her dreams because she is a girl, no woman has to struggle to prove her existence, and human society can stand firmly on the foundation of truth, equality, respect, and freedom.
