Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidate Jagdish Kharel Wins in Lalitpur-2 Constituency

Lalitpur. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Jagdish Kharel has been victorious in the Lalitpur Constituency Number 2.

According to the final vote count published on Sunday, Kharel secured victory by obtaining 39,491 votes. His closest competitor, Prem Krishna Maharjan of the Nepali Congress, received 7,420 votes.

Similarly, Rajaram Tandukar of Ujyalo Nepal Party garnered 5,547 votes, while Prem Bahadur Maharjan of CPN (UML) received 4,536 votes.

Among other candidates, Raghubarraj Thapa of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party secured 1,760 votes, Rajendra Amatya of the Communist Party of Nepal received 1,217 votes, and Saroj Rai of the Shram Sanskriti Party obtained 608 votes.

Likewise, Chiri Maiya Maharjan (Lakhaju) of the Nepal Workers' and Peasants' Party received 207 votes, independent candidate Umang KC got 99 votes, and Ashtaraj Bajracharya of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) received 87 votes.
