CPN Chairman Prachanda Extends Wishes on International Women's Day

Kathmandu. The Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has extended best wishes to all Nepali sisters on the occasion of International Working Women's Day (March 8).

Issuing a message today, Prachanda stated that women are the decisive force for societal change. He mentioned that the significant rights achieved today are the result of the immense courage, sacrifice, and dedicated struggle demonstrated by women in various periods of history.

In the message, Prachanda pointed out that inequality and violence against women have not yet been completely eradicated in practical life. He stated, 'The reality before us is that the market-oriented capitalist structure is also creating new forms of exploitation and inequality against women in the name of freedom and rights.'

Chairman Prachanda stated that future efforts must focus on establishing equality to the level of true realization by ending all forms of exploitation and discrimination. He emphasized the need to move forward with determination in the direction of protecting the rights secured in the constitution and ensuring proportional and meaningful participation of women in all levels and structures of the state according to their population ratio.

He also called upon everyone to engage in the historic campaign to build a society based on equality, respect, and social justice.
