Rastriya Swatantra Party Secures Historic Lead in Ongoing House of Representatives Vote Count

Kathmandu. As the counting of votes for the House of Representatives election continues, the final results for approximately 100 constituencies have been made public so far. According to the latest details received, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has achieved a historic result, surpassing other major parties.

Based on the results announced so far, the RSP has secured victory in 82 constituencies, the highest number, and maintains a lead in 40 other constituencies.

Similarly, the Nepali Congress has won 12 seats and is leading in 6 positions. The CPN-UML, currently in third place, has won 6 seats and is leading in 6 seats. 

The CPN (Maoist Centre) has won 4 seats and is leading in an additional 3 seats. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has won one seat, and one independent candidate has also secured a victory. 

The Rastriya Swatantra Party is also taking a significant lead in the proportional representation category, not just in direct elections. According to statistics, the RSP has received 586,486 votes, while the Nepali Congress, in second place, has received 199,448 votes, and the CPN-UML has received 151,608 votes.
