Clashes in Lebanon and UAE Result in Increased Casualties

Kathmandu. The death toll and number of injured have increased in recent days' attacks and clashes in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. At least 26 people were killed in clashes in the eastern region of Lebanon on Saturday.

Hezbollah fighters opened fire on four Israeli helicopters after they landed in the Nabi Chit-Ham area of the incident site. Local residents also participated in this clash.

Israeli army fighter jets and helicopters conducted approximately 40 airstrikes in the area. Lebanese army personnel, security forces, and ordinary civilians were killed in the clashes.

Previously, on Friday, the Israeli Air Force carried out 13 airstrikes in and around the Nabi Chit area. This sequence of events is the first major conflict following rockets launched by Hezbollah towards Israel on Monday.
