CPN-UML's Suhang Nembang Widens Lead in Ilam-2 House of Representatives Race

Biratnagar. According to the latest vote count results from the election in Ilam District's House of Representatives Constituency No. 2, CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nembang has maintained a significant lead. According to the latest data published by the Election Commission, Suhang has secured 9,388 votes.

Trailing him, Sudip Rai, the candidate from the Shram Sanskriti Party, is in second place with 7,742 votes. Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Bheshraj Acharya is in third place with 5,020 votes.
Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Gokul Bahadur Rai, in fourth place, has received 2,340 votes. Meanwhile, Om Bahadur Gurung of the Communist Party of Nepal received 678 votes. 

According to the vote counting details, votes for other smaller parties and independent candidates appear low. As per the Election Commission's form, a total of 28,265 votes have been counted so far. Of these, 26,593 votes have been validated, while 1,672 votes have been rejected. The counting is ongoing.
