Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidates Take Lead in Both Makwanpur Constituencies

Makwanpur. Candidates from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have taken the lead in both House of Representatives constituencies in Makwanpur. According to the results received from the ongoing vote count, RSP candidates Prakash Gautam in Makwanpur-1 and Prashant Uprety in Makwanpur-2 have maintained their lead, surpassing candidates from competing parties.

In Makwanpur-1, Gautam has consistently held the lead since the initial counting. As of now, with votes counted from Wards 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, RSP candidate Gautam has secured 19,236 votes, while CPN-UML's Rameshwar Rana has received 3,999 votes. 

Nepali Congress candidate Mahalakshmi Upadhyaya (Dina), who is in third place, has garnered 3,495 votes, while RPP candidate Deepak Bahadur Singh in fourth place has received 2,376 votes. CPN candidate Bijay Gautam has received 1,161 votes.

In Makwanpur-2, RSP's Uprety has received 11,933 votes as of the current count, which includes all wards of Manahari Rural Municipality and Wards 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Thaha Municipality. CPN-UML candidate Mahesh Kumar Batal, who is in second place, has received 5,786 votes. Love Sher Bishta is in third place with 5,643 votes, and Congress candidate Buddha Lama is in fourth with 5,029 votes.
