Rastriya Swatantra Party's Ganesh Parajuli Wins Kathmandu-7 Seat for Second Time in House of Representatives Election

Kathmandu. Ganesh Parajuli, a candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has won the Kathmandu Constituency No. 7 seat for the second time in the House of Representatives election of 2082. He secured the victory by defeating his closest competitor by a significant margin.

Parajuli won by securing 27,805 votes. His closest rival, Pramod Hari Guragain of the Nepali Congress, received only 3,982 votes. Parajuli defeated Guragain by a wide margin of 23,823 votes.

Similarly, Basanta Prasad Manandhar of the Communist Party of Nepal, who finished in third place, received 3,667 votes, and Prakash Shrestha of the CPN-UML received 3,544 votes. Bimala Lama of the Ujyalo Nepal Party secured 1,383 votes, and Lal Kumar Lama of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 1,381 votes. Other candidates received significantly fewer votes.

Parajuli was also victorious in this constituency in the 2079 election.
