Harka Sampang Urges Calm Amidst Election Results, Vows to Uphold Promises Regardless of Outcome

Kathmandu. Harka Sampang, Chairman of the Labor Culture Party and former Mayor of Dharan, has stated that one should neither panic nor become overly excited by the preliminary election results. Speaking to journalists as vote tallies were being released, Sampang emphasized that one should not make the mistake of celebrating prematurely or becoming disheartened until the final results are out. 

He declared that if he wins the election, he will expand his labor campaign nationwide, and even if he loses, he will fulfill his promise to build a bridge in Darchula. Stating that the people's vote is supreme in a democracy, Sampang made it clear that he would readily accept whatever the election outcome may be. 

He mentioned that even if he loses the election, he will not cry foul about rigging on the streets but will instead respect the decision of the people. Sampang said that although everyone runs for office expecting to win, the ballot box ultimately decides the victor, and he will move forward by accepting whomever the people elect. 

He asserted that his party will never abandon the issue of labor, whether it comes to power or not. Sampang warned that his party will monitor and intervene wherever there are delays and irregularities in development works across the country. 

His plan is to keep the government and the ruling power under constant pressure to work, whether he ends up in parliament or remains on the streets. He clarified that the Labor Culture Party will aggressively move forward to expand its organization across the country and intervene in areas facing delays. 

In response to a journalist's query about the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) taking the lead while his party lagged behind, Sampang stated that whatever the people vote for is the truth. He reacted to the slight dip in votes for his party by saying it was normal, as democracy grants the people the right to choose whomever they desire.
