Home Minister Aryal Declares Federal Elections Secured Nation's Future and Constitution

Kathmandu. Home Minister Omprakash Aryal stated on Thursday that the recently concluded House of Representatives election has ensured the protection of the nation and the constitution. He described the election as a historic achievement, noting that if the elections had not taken place, the country's political future, the constitution, and humanity itself could have faced serious risks.

Minister Aryal claimed that the government conducted the voting process more robustly and systematically than previous elections, meeting everyone's expectations. He further stated that political violence has ended in the country since the formation of the current government, and not a single drop of blood was shed during the election period. He analyzed that the expression of the public mandate in a peaceful environment has further matured Nepali democracy.

Home Minister Aryal emphasized that future governments must establish strong standards of good governance that cannot be dismantled. He said that state mechanisms must be made effective so that citizens can directly experience good governance, and the upcoming leadership must prioritize this. He expressed confidence that the post-election political stability will lead the country toward prosperity.
