Vote Counting to Begin in Makwanpur Constituencies 1 and 2

Vote counting for Makwanpur constituencies number 1 and 2 is scheduled to commence at 10:30 AM. According to the District Election Office, Makwanpur, counting will begin after an agreement is reached in the all-party meeting that started at 7:00 AM.

Bhutan Devi Secondary School in Hetauda has been designated as the counting center for both constituencies in Makwanpur district. The Office of the Chief Election Officer, Makwanpur, stated that preparations have been made to conduct the counting in two blocks of the school located in Hetauda Ward 4.

In Makwanpur, which has two constituencies, approximately 59 percent of votes were cast in the elections held on Thursday. According to the District Election Office, Makwanpur, out of the total voter population of 315,334 in the district, 186,551 votes were cast.

In Makwanpur, 96,634 men cast their votes, while 89,912 women cast their ballots. Additionally, five other individuals participated in the voting process.

In Makwanpur-1, a total of 95,310 votes were cast, comprising 47,670 men, 47,636 women, and four others. In Makwanpur-2, 91,241 votes were cast, consisting of 48,964 men, 42,276 women, and one other.
