Preliminary Results Show RSP Leading in Banke-1, CPN-UML Ahead in Banke-2 Constituency Elections

Kathmandu. Preliminary results are beginning to emerge from the ongoing vote counting for the House of Representatives elections in Banke district. According to the latest vote tallies received, candidates from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) are leading in Banke Constituency No. 1, while the candidate from CPN (UML) is taking the lead in Constituency No. 2.

Constituency No. 1 : The RSP candidate, Suresh Kumar Chaudhary, has maintained the lead with 974 votes. He is being followed by Narayan Prasad Gaudel of the Nepali Congress with 463 votes. The UML candidate, Surya Prasad Dhakal, is in third place with 238 votes.

Similarly, in the ongoing counting for Banke-2, CPN (UML) candidate Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai is in the lead, having secured 685 votes. He is being followed by Sudhanshu Koirala of the Nepali Congress with 402 votes. The RSP candidate, Vivek Kumar Shrestha, has received 289 votes.
