Voter Turnout Reaches 60% in Nepal's House of Representatives Elections

Kathmandu. The House of Representatives elections were completed on Thursday. According to the Election Commission, 60 percent of votes were cast across the country.

Meanwhile, in Lalitpur, 52,632 votes (25,741 female, 26,891 male) were cast in Constituency No. 1; 61,975 votes (31,035 female, 30,940 male) in Constituency No. 2; and 69,391 votes (35,055 female, 34,336 male) in Constituency No. 3.

The vote counting for Lalitpur-1 will take place in Godavari Municipality, while counting for Constituency No. 2 will be held at the NARC building in Satdobato. Counting for Constituency No. 3 will be conducted at the Local Development Training Academy in Jawalakhel.
