105-Year-Old Man Casts Ballot as First Voter at Budhanilkantha Municipality Polling Station

Kathmandu. The oldest citizen, 105-year-old Chandra Bahadur Khadka, cast his vote as the first voter at the Chapali polling center in Budhanilkantha Municipality-2.

Giving a brief reaction to journalists after voting, the elderly citizen Khadka expressed his happiness. He said, "I am happy to be able to vote at this age. My wish is that the country gets capable, honest, and public-serving representatives."

Local journalist Anita Shrestha stated that Khadka's participation instilled a sense of civic responsibility and duty towards democracy among the citizens.

Voters queuing at the polling station showed respect towards him, and many took photos with him, making the moment of voting memorable.
