Release Date of Yash-Starrer 'Toxic' Postponed Amid Middle East Tensions

Mumbai. The release date of the film 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' has been changed. The film, which was scheduled for release on March 19, 2026 (Chaitra 5), has had its release postponed due to tensions in the Middle East.

The film will now be released worldwide simultaneously starting June 4, 2026 (Jestha 21). The producers and actors stated in a press release on Wednesday that the release date had to be changed due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East following the joint attack by America and Israel on Iran.

The Middle East region is considered a significant market for the business of Indian films. The release has been postponed citing concerns that the unstable situation there could affect the film's business.

The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas. Besides Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria are also in the lead roles in the film.
