Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidate in Sarlahi Found on Credit Information Center's Blacklist

Kathmandu. Narendra Sah Kalwar, the candidate for the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Sarlahi-3, has been found to be on the blacklist of the Credit Information Center.

This discovery comes at a time when Kishori Sah, a candidate for the House of Representatives from Dhanusha Constituency-1, had her candidacy revoked for being on the same blacklist; Kalwar is also found on that list.

According to the Credit Information Center's records, Kalwar was placed on the blacklist by the center on 2081 Mangsir 5, which appears to still be active.

He is also accused of abandoning various projects for which he secured contracts in the construction business.

In the previous election, he was a candidate from the Maoist Center and was narrowly defeated by Hari Prasad Uprety of the CPN-UML. He is currently contesting as a candidate for the RSP.
