Dhanusha District Finalizes All Preparations for Upcoming House of Representatives Election

Janakpurdham. Dhanusha's Chief District Officer, Prem Prasad Luitel, stated that all preparations for tomorrow's House of Representatives election have been completed. He urged everyone to vote with confidence, assuring that the election will be peaceful.

Furthermore, he mentioned that complete arrangements for peace and security have been made to ensure the election is peaceful and orderly, noting that Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and the Nepali Army have been deployed for the election, and full security arrangements are in place at all polling stations. He added that if necessary, additional security forces will reach every polling station within five to seven minutes. He stated that polling stations have been constructed, and ballot boxes, polling officers, and staff have reached their respective polling stations.

Dhanusha has four constituencies for the House of Representatives. Under this, the district has 645 polling centers and 322 polling stations. One hundred ninety-four polling stations have been designated as highly sensitive. The Chief Electoral Officer's office stated that 3,875 staff members have been mobilized for the election. Four thousand five hundred election police have also been selected. The number of candidates in this district is 154, according to the Chief Electoral Officer's office.
