All Preparations Complete for House of Representatives Election in Morang

Biratnagar. The Office of the Chief Election Officer in Morang has announced that all preparations for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 have been completed. Necessary materials for voting, including ballot papers, ballot boxes, and barricades, have been dispatched to the respective polling centers, and the construction of polling stations has also commenced.

Preparations are underway to complete the establishment of all polling stations by Falgun 20. Mani Ram Pokharel, Assistant Chief Election Officer at the Office of the Chief Election Officer in Morang, informed that an announcement regarding the polling station records, the silence period, and other security matters will be issued in consultation with representatives of political parties before the voting day.

The Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and Nepali Army have been deployed across the villages according to an integrated security plan to ensure the election is conducted in a clean, impartial, fearless, and peaceful environment.

Morang has 783,050 voters. In Morang, which has 6 constituencies, 890 polling centers have been established.
