Tensions Rise in Middle East as US Jets Downed in Kuwait; Iran Strikes UK Base in Cyprus

Cyprus. Tensions have further escalated in the Middle East. The United States stated that Kuwait shot down three of its F-15 Eagle fighter jets.

Meanwhile, Iran launched a drone attack on the British Royal Air Force's Akrotiri base in Cyprus. It is also reported that Iran attacked six US bases located in 4 Middle Eastern countries on Monday.  

According to the US military, Kuwait's air defense system mistakenly targeted these aircraft, mistaking them for enemies. All American pilots are safe in the incident.  

On the other hand, Iran attacked the British Royal Air Force's Akrotiri base in Cyprus with a drone. According to the UK Ministry of Defence, this attack, which occurred on Sunday night, caused minor damage to the base, but there were no casualties. The British military is retaliating in response. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer had given the US permission to use this base to attack Iranian missile sites.

Iran Attacks 6 US Bases

Iran attacked six US bases located in 4 Middle Eastern countries on Monday. It has been reported that several US fighter jets crashed in Kuwait during this process. The jets circled in the air for some time before crashing to the ground. However, there were no human casualties in this incident.
