Nepali Security Guard Killed in UAE Drone Incident Following Iranian Attack

Gorkha, February 18: Divas Shrestha from Borlang Thanti, Ward No. 7 of Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality in Gorkha, has died in the United Arab Emirates following an Iranian attack.

According to information provided by the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi, 29-year-old Divas Shrestha died on Sunday. He was reportedly working as a security guard for a Middle East company. It has been disclosed that he died while neutralizing a drone at the Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.

The Embassy has stated that it will facilitate the repatriation of the deceased Shrestha's body to Nepal.
