All Nepali Nationals in Iran Confirmed Safe, Ministry Says

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that all Nepali nationals in Iran are safe. Among the 12 Nepalis in Iran for various purposes, two have already returned to Nepal. Two more are in the process of returning, said Lok Bahadur Chhetri, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Eight Nepali nationals are still in Iran. All of them are safe. He stated that the Nepali Embassy is in constant contact with them. Chhetri mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the developing situation in the Middle East and has urged Nepali citizens residing in Israel and Iran to remain alert and cautious.

They have been urged to stay indoors as much as possible, remain vigilant, take necessary precautions, and maintain regular contact with the Nepali community in their respective locations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that travel without prior approval from the relevant authorities in Israel and Iran is discouraged, and all travel from Nepal to those regions has been canceled.
