CPN-UML Chairman Oli Expresses Distress Over Middle East Missile Attacks, Prays for Nepal's Safety

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has expressed his hope that the smoke of missiles will not enter Nepal under any guise. Oli stated that he could not even sleep due to the missile attacks occurring in the Middle East.

Expressing concern over the families of the millions of Nepalis in the Middle East who are living in distress and chaos, having to wait anxiously every moment, Oli said that the sight of smoke from missiles raining down on Middle Eastern countries kept him awake.

Oli wrote on the social media platform Facebook, 'Millions of Nepalis are in distress and chaos in those countries. Their families here have to wait anxiously every moment.' Oli also noted that it is natural for citizens of the world to travel everywhere for opportunities in today's open world.

'What is unnatural and dangerous is war and geopolitical entanglement. Those countries certainly did not want war either. But they are forced to do so when the self-interest of power intervenes,' Oli mentioned, noting that Nepal has fortunately not yet experienced the smoke of missiles.

Chairman Oli prayed, saying, 'May it not come in any form. Today, while you all are restless, I could not sleep. I am restless.' Chairman Oli called on everyone to exercise caution and patience, stating that caution, patience, wisdom, and courage must be exercised at this time.
