CPN Central Committee Member Binod Pahadi Joins CPN-UML

Rupandehi. Binod Pahadi, a central committee member of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and a former Constituent Assembly member, has joined the CPN-UML.

He was welcomed into the party by UML Vice Chairman Bishnu Paudel, Secretary Chhabilal Bishwakarma, and leader Lila Giri. He is also the chairman of the National Dalit Journalists Federation.

Upon joining the UML, Pahadi stated that he chose the party based on its firm stance on national self-respect. He asserted that the siege and attacks against the CPN-UML were attacks against democracy and the republic.

Pahadi clarified that he chose the UML based on ideology, not out of greed or impulse. Along with him, Saroj Gautam, a member of CPN Rupandehi, and Janak Gautam, a municipal member, also joined the CPN-UML.
