KP Sharma Oli Claims Government Has Failed to Create Fair Election Environment

Jhapa. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that the government has still failed to create an impartial environment for elections. He remarked that the country has been pushed towards a crisis after the sovereign parliament was forcibly dissolved through destruction.

Speaking at the 'Students with Oli' program organized by ANISU in Damak, Jhapa on Friday, he also mentioned that UML has gone to the elections to bring the country out of the current crisis.

He noted that UML will not shy away from elections and that the party is focused on the elections across the country. Oli asserted that UML will emerge as the leading force in the upcoming elections and will find solutions to the problems facing the nation.

The former Prime Minister, Oli, also stated that UML will not accept any form of rigging in the elections. He further commented that the government does not appear serious about making the elections impartial and free from fraud. During the program, he urged the youth not to fall for illusions spread through various means and to work towards dispelling such illusions.

Youth students raised various queries to Chairman Oli during the program. Responding to their questions, he suggested that the role and actions of any party are determined by its principles, programs, and agenda, and he advised them to disseminate UML's programs and principles to the public.
