Tipper Driver Dies After Electrocution While Cleaning Vehicle in Siraha

Siraha. A driver died from electrocution while lifting the hydraulic system of a tipper truck on the road leading to Gurudham in Golbazar Municipality-2 here. Police stated that the deceased has been identified as Santosh Sah, approximately 43 years old, who was a resident of Ward No. 2, originally hailing from Golbazar Municipality-3.

This morning, while cleaning the rear part of the tipper truck with registration number Province 2-0-001 Ka 0045, the hydraulic lift touched the electric transmission line, causing an electric shock and subsequent fire in the tipper. Sah, who was also the vehicle owner, was seriously injured. He was immediately rescued and rushed to a local Health Care Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead, informed District Police Office Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Pal.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police immediately reached the scene and brought the fire under control. The body has been sent to Ramkumar Uma Prasad Provincial Hospital in Lahan for post-mortem examination, the police stated.
