Five Dead in Separate Road Accidents Across Nepal

Five people have died in separate road accidents in various districts across the country.

In Birgunj Metropolitan City-15, Mahabir Chowk, Parsa, a motorcycle with registration number M.Pra.03-038 Pa 9478 went out of control and crashed on Thursday night, resulting in the death of the rider, 28-year-old Rakesh Yadav, a resident of Bara, Parwanipur Rural Municipality-3. Police stated that he died during treatment at Narayani Hospital after being seriously injured in the accident. Another person riding the motorcycle is currently undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital, Birgunj.

Similarly, in Rupandehi's Shuddhodhan Rural Municipality-6, Semari, a motorcycle with registration number Lu.95 Pa 7842 went out of control and crashed on the road, leading to the death of the rider, 50-year-old Ram Bahadur Ghartimagar, a resident of Gurauli, Ward-6 of the same rural municipality. He died during treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal, after being seriously injured.

In Chitwan's Rapti Municipality-7, near Pampha Bridge, an unidentified vehicle struck a pedestrian, an approximately 50-year-old man, resulting in his death on Friday morning. Police reported that he died during treatment at the government hospital in Bharatpur after being seriously injured in the collision. The vehicle and the driver involved in the collision fled the scene and are currently being sought by the police.

In Morang's Belbari Municipality-2, near Lohondra Bridge, a motorcycle with registration number Ko.35 Pa 9759 struck a pedestrian, 79-year-old Jasbahadur Rai, resulting in his death on Thursday evening. He died during treatment at Nobel Hospital, Biratnagar, after being seriously injured. Police have taken the motorcycle driver into custody.

Furthermore, in Tanahun's Byas Municipality-10, near Baireni, a motorcycle with registration number Ga.16 Pa 6979 struck a pedestrian, 48-year-old Birbahadur Darai, leading to his death last night. He died during treatment at Gandaki Medical College, Pokhara, after being seriously injured. Police have also taken the motorcycle driver involved in this incident into custody.

The Central News Desk of the Police Headquarters stated that the police are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accidents.
