Nepali Film 'Prawasi Jeevan' Premieres Amidst Election Season Lull

Kathmandu. The film 'Prawasi Jeevan' (Migrant Life) has been released today, Friday, as part of the Friday releases. Due to the elections, other producers have shown little interest in releasing their films during this period, giving this movie an opportunity for a solo screening.

However, this film has not secured all the halls across the country. This is because Nepali films released in previous weeks, along with some foreign films, are continuing their run.

'Prawasi Jeevan' is based on the story of the struggle and success of Nepalis residing in the United States. The film has been jointly directed by Shyam Chhetri and Ram Adhikari.

The film, starring Rajesh Hamal in the lead role, focuses on the joys, sorrows, ups, downs, and challenges faced by expatriates. Besides Rajesh, the film features performances by Sarita Lamichhane, Buddhi Tamang, Mahadev Adhikari, Angela Basnet, Gagan Subedi, Lokesh Bhritikoti, and others.

This film, produced with investment from Rabin Acharya, features cinematography by Amrit Bisnuwa, editing by Ram Adhikari, background music by Subash Senchuri, and music by Navin Karki.
