43 Organizations to Observe Upcoming House of Representatives Election

Kathmandu.   43 organizations will be observing the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21. The Election Commission has granted permission for observation to 3 international and 40 national organizations. The Commission has also provided training to the 40 national observation organizations.

Commissioner Sagun Shamsher JB Rana, who is also the coordinator of the Code of Conduct Monitoring and Observation Committee, informed that 3 international and 40 national organizations that have fulfilled the specified criteria and procedures will be observing the election.

Similarly, 15 foreign guests, including election commissioners from various countries, will arrive to observe the election at the invitation of the Commission. Commissioner JB Rana also informed that 52 liaison officers have been mobilized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate the monitoring of the voting day for foreign guests, representatives of diplomatic missions, and embassy representatives.
