Western Disturbance Partially Affects Nepal's Upper Atmosphere, Weather Forecast Indicates

Kathmandu. The Department of Meteorology has stated that a western low-pressure system is currently having a partial influence on Nepal's upper atmosphere. Due to this influence, there is generally cloudy weather in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the remaining hilly and mountainous regions are experiencing partial cloud cover.

This afternoon, some areas in the Terai region will experience fog in the morning. There will be general cloud cover in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with partial cloud cover in the remaining mountainous and hilly areas. The weather in the Terai region will remain mostly clear.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms and snowfall in a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of the remaining provinces.

Tonight, there will be mist in a few places in the Terai region. The mountainous regions of the country will have general cloud cover, the hilly regions will have partial cloud cover, and the weather in the Terai region will remain mostly clear. The Department has stated that there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms and snowfall in one or two places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
