Progressive Democratic Party Candidate Defects to CPN in Kanchanpur Constituency 1

Kanchanpur. The candidate of the Progressive Democratic Party (Pradalo) in Kanchanpur Constituency Number 1, Dipendra Bahadur Shahi, has joined the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN). Shahi, along with Pradalo's Kanchanpur District Chief Amar Singh Bista and 54 other leaders and cadres, joined the CPN.

Shahi, who had unveiled his election manifesto at a press conference in Belauri on February 10, defected from his party and joined the CPN just three days later. Both Shahi and Bista were central members of Pradalo.

After integrating into the CPN, Shahi and the joining leaders and cadres pledged to work actively in the campaign to ensure the victory of female leader Bina Magar.
