CPN-UML Candidate Bhattarai Prioritizes Infrastructure Upgrade and Youth Employment in Kathmandu-4 Campaign

Kathmandu. Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, the CPN-UML candidate for Kathmandu Constituency No. 4, has stated that bringing qualitative improvements to existing physical infrastructure is his main priority.

Speaking to journalists during his door-to-door campaign in his constituency on Thursday, Bhattarai clarified that since basic infrastructure in roads, drainage, drinking water, and health sectors has already been built, his focus will now be on making them systematic and effective.

Bhattarai mentioned that his party has given equal priority to solving local problems alongside the national issues it has put forward in the election. Indicating the recent negative narrative being built in the country that nothing is happening and the growing dissatisfaction among the youth, he shared his plan to introduce special programs for youth self-employment. He concluded that creating an environment where the youth can see their future within the country is the primary necessity right now.

He stated that he would emphasize creating an investment-friendly environment to generate employment opportunities in the country. He expressed his commitment to bringing attractive packages from the policy-making level to increase domestic investment and attract foreign investment. Bhattarai pointed out the need for concrete policy reforms to encourage the private sector and move forward on the path of economic prosperity.

Ending corruption and establishing good governance is another important agenda for Bhattarai. He placed special emphasis on making service delivery from government offices simple and easy so that the public can complete their tasks without hassle.

Stating that he is receiving an encouraging response from voters during the door-to-door campaign, Bhattarai expressed confidence that this election will lay the foundation for a stable government and good governance in the country.
