CPN Leader Prachanda Calls Candidate, Promises Ministerial Post Upon Victory

Kathmandu. CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' called Ranjit Tamang, the party's candidate for Jhapa Constituency No. 5. Chairman Prachanda made the call to Tamang on Thursday.

While speaking to Tamang on the phone, he assured him to focus confidently on the election campaign and promised him a ministerial position if he wins. Prachanda told Tamang, 'Do not be misled by the rumors circulating outside. Focus confidently on the election campaign. Defeat the two prime ministerial candidates and come back, I will make you a minister.'

Tamang is contesting against CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Rastriya Swatantra Party senior leader Balen Shah in that constituency. The House of Representatives election will be held across the country on Falgun 21.
