Nepali Congress Leader Sharma Asserts Party Under Thapa's Leadership Respects All

Saptari. Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma stated that the Congress, transformed under the leadership of President Gagan Thapa, will respect everyone.

Addressing an election rally at Gajendra Chowk here on Tuesday, he mentioned that honoring the Madhes movement, the contribution of Gajendra Narayan Singh is never forgettable. Recalling that federalism came into existence due to the Madhes movement, he asserted that federalism would not be weakened by anyone's desire.

Earlier, he had garlanded the statue of the late Gajendra Narayan Singh. At the Congress election gathering, more than two dozen youths, including JSP Nepal's proportional representation candidate Vijay Gupta, joined the Nepali Congress. Among those joining the party are Md. Sajjad, Sultan, Akbar, Anwar, Azam, Meraj, Zafir, Aftop, Ismail, Ayus from Rajbiraj Municipality. Md. Wasim, Tabrez, Abdul, Mukim, Irshad, Arwaz, Izharul, Harun, Ibran, Irfan and others from Mahadeva Rural Municipality have joined the Nepali Congress.

The newly joined youths were welcomed by Nepali Congress candidate for Saptari Constituency No. 2 Ram Kumar Yadav, National Assembly member Ranjit Karna, party District Secretary Sanat Mandal, Madhes Province Co-General Secretary Bindu Yadav, leaders Irshad Ansari, Constituent Assembly member Sakaldev Sutihar, and leader Jitendra Narayan Dev, among others.
