Lakhs Worth of Valuables Stolen from Home in Biratnagar

Biratnagar. Valuables worth lakhs of rupees have been stolen from a house located at Shanti Chowk in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-10, Morang. Thieves targeted the home of local resident Sita Shrestha, making off with gold and silver jewelry and other valuables estimated to be worth around 1.2 million rupees.

The theft, which occurred on Monday, has alarmed the local residents. The police immediately arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the incident and completed the preliminary inventory.

The Morang District Police Office stated that they are currently collecting detailed information about the stolen goods and have intensified the search for those involved. The police have increased surveillance in suspicious areas and are reviewing local CCTV footage to identify the absconding individuals.
