Joint Secretary Tiwari Appointed to Investigate Fatal Dhading Bus Crash

Joint Secretary Rishiram Tiwari has been assigned the responsibility to investigate the bus accident that occurred in Dhading. Home Minister Omprakash Aryal has appointed Tiwari, the Chief of the Internal Management Division at the Ministry of Home Affairs, as the coordinator of the task force.

The decision to form the task force was made during a meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday. The task force includes an SSP from Nepal Police, an SSP from the Armed Police Force, a Senior Divisional Engineer from the Department of Roads, and an Under Secretary from the Ministry of Home Affairs as members.

The death toll from the bus accident involving vehicle number Ga 2 Kha 1421, which occurred near Charaundi in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality, Dhading, on the morning of Falgun 11, has reached 20. The bus was traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu when the accident happened.
