CPN-UML Candidate Prithvi Subba Gurung Launches Campaign Appeal for Lamjung Election

Lamjung. As the fervor for the House of Representatives election scheduled for February 21 increases, CPN-UML candidate Prithvi Subba Gurung has made his appeal public from Lamjung. The experienced leader announced that he is entering the electoral arena with a pledge for the overall development, good governance, and economic prosperity of Lamjung.

Issuing an appeal in the name of the people of Lamjung, he urged them to elect him to transform the district. Gurung has prioritized the development of physical infrastructure to change the fate and future of Lamjung. Specifically, accelerating the work on the Mid-Hill Highway and upgrading the Dumre dashershar dashManang road section are his main agendas.

He committed to upgrading the road network extending to the rural areas of the district so that it remains operational throughout the year. His plan is to derive economic benefits by correctly utilizing Lamjung's natural resources, connecting water, land, and forests with modern knowledge.

Gurung has shown special interest in connecting youth power and technology. He has put forward a strategy to bring the Digital Nepal campaign to the local level, create employment opportunities for youth in their villages, and retain skilled manpower within the district.

He claimed to be moving forward with a concrete plan to modernize and commercialize agriculture and make Lamjung a major tourism hub in the country. His vision is to promote Lamjung's tourism in the global market and brand its local products.

At a time when the lack of good governance in state management is keenly felt, Gurung emphasized ending policy corruption and enacting people-oriented laws. He expressed his determination to strengthen federalism and work in a way that the public can feel the impact. Asserting that only experienced leadership can give the district the right direction, he sought everyone's support in the journey to build a prosperous Lamjung.
