Gandaki Chief Minister Surrenderj Pandey Campaigns in Gorkha-2, Citing Provincial Budget Allocations

Pokhara. Two record files contain a list of the budget brought by the provincial government to the district over the past three years. There is a list of completed works. Gandaki Chief Minister Surendraraj Pandey, elected as a Provincial Assembly member in 2079 BS, is currently campaigning for the Congress candidate in Gorkha-2, carrying those very files.
Nepali Congress has nominated Prakash Chandra Dawadi as the candidate there. Dawadi was elected as a Provincial Assembly member in 2074 BS. Pandey has been participating in door-to-door canvassing and corner meetings seeking votes for Dawadi.

'I have every detail of the budget allocated to Gorkha district in the Red Book of the Provincial Government. I won't say all your demands have been met, but many have been fulfilled. This is true not just for Gorkha, but for the entire province,' Chief Minister Pandey says, showing the list, 'This was done under the leadership of Congress representatives, so elect the Nepali Congress candidate in the House of Representatives to complete the remaining work.'

He urged voters to cast their ballots for the 'Tree' symbol in the proportional representation category as well, as Congress needs a majority to form the government.

He participated in the election program after obtaining permission from the Election Commission. Stating that in the previous election, votes could not be cast for Congress due to the alliance, he mentioned that this time the environment is conducive for voting without hesitation. 'The complaint from many friends about not being able to vote for the Tree symbol has now been resolved,' he said, 'Prakash Chandra Dawadi is the candidate from the Nepali Congress.'

Having led the Provincial Government, he presented detailed information on the budget allocated in all sectors, including roads, drinking water, irrigation, social services, tourism, and health, for the fiscal years 2080/81, 2081/82, and 2082/83, appealing to voters to vote for Congress representatives based on the work done.

'Due to my actions after you voted for me, no one has had to walk with their head bowed down. They will not have to in the future either,' he added, 'Our candidate Prakash Chandra Dawadi will also do work that prevents you from having to bow your head in shame. Vote for the Tree symbol with that trust.'

Stating that the promises he made when elected to the Provincial Assembly from Gorkha-2 (2) are in the process of being fulfilled, he mentioned that the work to make the main road operational for vehicles throughout the year is in its final stages. Dawadi had spent the additional salary and benefits received from the government after being elected to the Provincial Assembly on social service.
