Shahid Kapoor and Tripti Dimri's 'O Romeo' Maintains Strong Box Office Hold, Outperforming New Release

Mumbai. The film 'O Romeo' starring Shahid Kapoor and Tripti Dimri has maintained a strong grip at the box office. Nine days after its release, the film has succeeded in collecting a total of 53 crore rupees. Although there was some decline in business on other days of the week, a significant surge in the film's earnings was observed on Saturday.

The film, which earned only 2.15 crore on Friday, made a good recovery on Saturday by collecting 3.35 crore rupees, showing a growth of 55.81 percent. Collections are expected to increase further on Sunday due to the public holiday.

A week after 'O Romeo' was released on February 13, the film 'Do Deewane Shehar Mein' starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi was released on February 20. However, due to the existing craze for 'O Romeo', this new film appears to have suffered significant losses.

'Do Deewane Shehar Mein' earned only 1.25 crore on its opening day and 1.60 crore rupees on Saturday. Its total collection after two days reached 2.85 crore rupees.
